Refund Policy

Effective: April 26, 2026

This policy applies to all Curato product purchases — including the Cigar vertical and any other vertical packages — sold by JK.Creative LLC ("JK Creative"). It explains exactly what happens if you want your money back.

1. 30-Day Refund Window

If Curato is not a fit, you may request a refund within 30 calendar days of your original purchase date. No explanation required. The 30-day window applies whether or not you have completed onboarding or activated your license, and begins on the date your payment is processed through Square — not the date you complete setup.

Requests submitted after the 30-day window will not be approved except as described in §4.

2. Refund Amount — 90% Returned, 10% Retained

Approved refunds are issued as follows:

The 10% is calculated on the amount you actually paid, not the face price of the package. Promotional discounts are honored — you are never charged retroactive value for a code you redeemed.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method on file with Square. Processing time is typically 5–7 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

3. How to Request a Refund

4. After 30 Days

We do not offer a guaranteed refund after the 30-day window has passed. If something has gone seriously wrong — for example, a defect we cannot reasonably fix, or a material change to the product that degrades its core value — reach out at support@jkcreative.store and describe the situation. Post-30-day requests are handled case by case and we will do our best to be fair. Outside the 30-day window this is discretionary on our side, but it does not limit any rights you may have under Washington consumer-protection law (RCW 19.86) or any mandatory consumer-protection law that applies where you reside.

5. What Happens When a Refund Is Processed

  1. License revoked immediately. Your license / catalog access is added to the revocation list at the time we process the request.
  2. Refund issued. We initiate the 90% refund through Square to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the credit may take additional time to appear on your statement.
  3. Service shutdown. Curato widget, kiosk, and admin tools associated with the revoked license stop functioning at the next activation check.

6. Chargebacks

We strongly prefer that you email us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We resolve virtually every refund request quickly and without involving the bank. A chargeback creates friction for you, adds card-network fees on our side, and typically takes longer than our direct refund process. Our door is always open at support@jkcreative.store before you escalate.

If you file a chargeback without contacting us first:

Nothing in this section limits your rights under card-network rules or applicable consumer-protection law.

7. Bundle and Promotional Purchases

If you purchased Curato as part of a bundle alongside another JK Creative product, the same 30-day window and the same 90/10 structure apply. The refund for any component of a bundle is calculated as:

90% × [(component's individual list price ÷ sum of individual list prices of all bundled components) × amount paid for the bundle]

If all components of the bundle are refunded within their respective windows, you receive 90% of the total amount you paid for the bundle.
